Radiated Tortoise

Geochelone radiata

Although it primarily eats grasses, the Radiated Tortoise is an opportunistic feeder and consumes a wide range of plant and animal matter.

It is endemic to the spiny forest of Madagascar, which is a dry forest with low, irregular rainfall.
