The Boma

Traditional farming has coexisted with wildlife in seeming harmony for centuries. Cattle and goats grazed the savannahs alongside the zebra and the wildebeest. And at night, farmers developed a way to protect their herds from predators: The Boma, a livestock stockade made with wooden logs and spiny thorn bush and acacia branches, often reinforced with stones.

We have built one of these Bomas for you and your children, where you can interact with the animals: feed the goats and sheep, ride a donkey...

Don´t forget to wash your hands after touching the animals!
